  • National School Breakfast Programe
    We are proud to be National School Breakfast School. We are happy to offer a healthy breakfast to all our children and we would welcome your child to join us fro a great start to the day. Our breakfast starts at 8:55am every day.
  • Our Year 4 and Year 5 children visited Durham University for a science and engineering day where they solved outer space problems. More photos in the gallery section.
  • Girls Football
    Our girls football team reached the semi finals at Hillview Junior school. Lets hope England do the same in the world cup- or even better win!!
  • Miners Exhibition
    4 of our children from year 3 this week visited Durham Cathedral to see there work displayed in a mining exhibition. The children even featured in The northern Echo! Click here to read the article in the northern echo.
  • Red Nose Day 2017
    We raised £160 for Red Nose day 2017 with the help of Sainsbury's Sedgefield. The children all had a great day and we would like to thank all children, parents and Sainsbury's for their support.
  • Year 6 Nissan Visit
    Our Year 6 class visited the Nissan Car Plant on Monday 6th February. Olivia Hagan was the overall winner of their Logo competition. Well done to Olivia and runners up Mollie Presho and Olivia Prout.

    We have a new school App, it will available on smart phones,tablets etc. Please search 'DeafHill ps' to download. It is still early days but more features will be added once they become available.

  • Children In Need 2015
    Children can come to school dressed in their own clothes for a 50p donation which goes to Children in need. Cakes and biscuits will be also be on sale to raise funds for Children in Need. Thank you
